I am an SF East Bay native, currently living in Concord with my husband, adorable crazy daughters, along with 2 cats, 2 dogs, Dr. Jones the snake, 4 chickens, and various fish. I'm currently developing science curriculum for Lawrence Hall of Science @UC Berkeley, but before that was a teacher for 10 years - Most recently teaching Life/Earth Science and Government classes at a continuation high school in the East Bay. No matter where I end up in my career, I will ALWAYS be a teacher at heart. I hold a BS degree in biochemistry and cell biology from UC San Diego, and a M.Ed in secondary science curriculum and instruction from UC Berkeley. These days I spend most of my free time with my family, practicing ukulele, belly dancing, crocheting, and overlanding/camping.

• I like science, nature, and learning of all sorts

• I like nerdy sci-fi/fantasy shows and books

• I used to have a birth photography business, and I am a certified doula and childbirth educator

• I like photographing nature, plants, animals, and humans

• I love camping, backpacking, hiking, and offroading

• I used to be in a performing belly dance troupe

• I like dark chocolate, but try to only buy fair trade because of modern day slavery and ecosystem destruction

• Sometimes I care too much

• I like to karaoke and sing and dance randomly

• I am an introvert. Can I go home now?

• During the pandemic, I taught myself how to crochet, play ukulele, and draw mandalas
